Driver & Receiving Specialist

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Driver & Receiving Specialist, where you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations and efficient logistics. This energetic position combines driving responsibilities with receiving and inventory management tasks, offering a hands-on opportunity to contribute to our supply chain excellence. You will be responsible for safely transporting goods, accurately receiving shipments, and maintaining organized inventory records to support seamless order fulfillment and warehouse distribution. Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles to load, unload, and deliver goods within designated areas, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. Manage shipping & receiving processes, verifying inbound and outbound shipments against purchase orders Conduct thorough inspections of incoming shipments for accuracy and damages; document discrepancies and coordinate with suppliers or internal teams for resolution. Assist in stocking shelves, picking & packing orders, and preparing items for shipment using, pallet jacks, and order pickers. Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by properly storing goods, managing packaging materials, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations and safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to internal requests and supporting the overall efficiency of warehouse operations. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during stocking and order picking processes. Ability to lift up to 50lbs Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and order fulfillment tasks. Customer service orientation with effective communication skills to collaborate across teams.
