Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Truck Owner Operator and take control of your driving career! In this vital role, you’ll operate a variety of commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks. Your expertise in route driving, load and unload procedures, and vehicle maintenance will ensure timely deliveries across diverse routes. Responsibilities Safely operate various types of trucks such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers to transport freight efficiently. Navigate assigned routes with precision, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance to keep trucks in optimal condition. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and potential delays. Ensure compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations for commercial driving. Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery documentation for record-keeping purposes. Requirements Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements suitable for operating tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or refrigerated trailers. Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and freight delivery. Proficiency in manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to trucking operations and cargo handling. Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with GPS systems for efficient route planning.
