Driver/Order Picker

We distribute and merchandise food products to customers in partnership with premium grocery stores. We've been in business for over 25 years, growing from a team of two to over 150, located up and down the West Coast. We are seeking a talented, customer focused Driver/Stocker to join our team in Tukwila, WA. Must be reliable, forklift certified, have a valid Washington State Driver’s License, clean driving record, and qualify for Company Insurance to drive Company vehicles. A Driver/Stocker is a supply chain and logistics professional who starts early, is primarily responsible for performing the Route Delivery Driver function three days a week and the Receiving and Stocking two days a week. RESPONSIBILITIES Driver: Pre-trip inspection of assigned vehicle Packing and loading products onto trucks in a logical manner according to company’s specifications Delivery of orders to customers on assigned routes and obtain scans to confirm and complete deliveries with clients Unload goods as per client specifications Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs Maintain detailed driving and delivery records Stocker: Receiving and processing incoming orders Stock slots throughout the day Order picking, palletizing, prepping for delivery Follow all safety procedures and adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the safe operation of equipment and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment Other duties as assigned License and Equipment Use Requirements: Forklift Certification (on the job certification available) Driver’s License (Class C ok) Able to operate warehouse equipment including box truck, van, forklift, and/or other cargo handling equipment in a safe and controlled manner Basic computer literacy DSD is an Equal Opportunity Employer Job Type: Full-time Pay: $24.40 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance Experience: Box truck driving: 3 years (Required) Order picking: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: Washington State Driver's License (Required) Ability to Commute: Tukwila, WA 98168 (Required) Work Location: In person
