Ambu-Trans is seeking dependable, professional CDL drivers to provide non-emergency medical transportation throughout New York City. Our drivers transport elderly and disabled passengers to dialysis, medical appointments, rehabilitation, and other healthcare services. Previous ambulette experience is preferred but not required. We provide paid training to the right candidate. Responsibilities Safely transport wheelchair and ambulatory passengers to and from medical appointments Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle Properly secure wheelchairs and mobility devices Accurately record trip times and information using the company transportation app Communicate with dispatch, passengers, and healthcare facilities Perform required vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, safe vehicle Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies Provide courteous, patient, and professional customer service Requirements Valid CDL Class C or higher with Passenger (P) endorsement Acceptable driving record Ability to meet applicable driver qualification and medical requirements Previous ambulette, paratransit, school bus, transit, or professional passenger-driving experience preferred Paid training provided for the right candidate Comfortable assisting wheelchair passengers and individuals with limited mobility Dependable, punctual, and professional Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus What We Offer Earn $60,000+ annually Paid training Full-time, steady work Overtime opportunities Paid vacation and personal days Paid holidays Healthcare plan available Established New York medical transportation company Experienced dispatch and operations support How to Apply Text: 914-760-1255 Call: 914-699-0785 Apply in person: 8 E.
