Driver/ Mover

hardworking Driver / Mover r to join our growing moving team. This is a hands-on position for someone who can safely operate a moving truck, lead a crew, and provide excellent customer service. This is not a driving-only position. The Crew Driver is responsible for safely driving team members and equipment to and from job sites and then working alongside the crew to load, unload, install, relocate and shrink wrapping, padding furniture, packing boxes Responsibilities ● Safely drive company moving trucks to and from job sites ● Lead a moving crew and help coordinate daily jobs ● Load, unload, wrap, protect, and transport customers’ furniture and belongings ● Properly use moving equipment, dollies, straps, pads, ramps, and other tools ● Communicate professionally with customers and crew members ● Follow company procedures for inventory, loading, unloading, and property protection ● Inspect the truck and equipment before and after each job ● Complete required paperwork and job documentation ● Help train newer movers on the Hercules way ● Maintain a clean and professional appearance ● Protect customers’ homes, furniture, floors, walls, and belongings ● Work safely and efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude Qualifications ● Valid driver’s license and a clean/reasonably good driving record ● Previous moving, delivery, labor, or truck-driving experience preferred ● Must be dependable and punctual ● Must be able to lift heavy furniture and boxes repeatedly ● Must be comfortable working on your feet and performing physical labor throughout the day ● Strong communication and customer-service skills ● Leadership ability and willingness to take responsibility ● Must be able to work Monday–Saturday as needed ● Must be drug-free while working and comply with all company safety policies What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who wants more than just a paycheck.
