Driver Manager/Dispatcher

Rapid Transport is currently seeking an experienced logistic dispatcher for inbound/outbound loads. EXPERIENCE IS A MUST...NO TRAINING AVAILABLE. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Has a strong and developed network of customers Assign Drivers to trucks, determine driver routes, destinations, and timelines for the transporting of freight to an assigned destination Aid in driver training of DOT compliance and regulations as well as company rules and processes Procure loads from customers and aid in providing tender. Negotiate rates with brokers for best gross profit for company. Maintains customers updated on delivery status of loads Tracks drivers and other necessary information electronically Provide support to drivers as needed May be in charge of ordering/coordinating regular maintenance of trucks with shop Other duties as assigned Requirements: High School Diploma Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills 2-3 years of relevant work experience For consideration, please submit resume.
