Driver Helper

Job Summary As a Driver Helper, you’ll support safe, timely deliveries by preparing loads, assisting the driver, and helping customers receive their orders. You’ll work across delivery routes using mobile devices to follow instructions and record delivery details. Your impact: Careful handling and dependable customer service help customers receive their deliveries safely and in good condition. Responsibilities Load and unload goods, organize shipments, and assist with moving items between the warehouse and delivery vehicle. Use safe lifting practices and material handling equipment, such as a pallet jack, while following workplace weight-handling procedures. Assist with route driving and delivery driving; support a van driver, courier, or commercial driver as assigned. Provide courteous customer service and use mobile devices to confirm delivery information and update records. Follow traffic regulations and applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements during delivery work. Must have a clean background and willing to undergo a background check. Uniform shirt will be provided and necessary tools. Experience Delivery driver experience, warehouse experience, or familiarity with warehouse operations is helpful. Ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting safely. Driving experience is useful; commercial driving, commercial truck driving, box truck, manual transmission, or personal vehicle delivery experience is preferred, not required. Experience with pallet jacks or other material handling equipment is an asset. Pay: From $750.00 per week Work Location: In person
