Driver Helper

Job Overview As a Driver Helper, you’ll partner with a delivery driver to prepare, transport, and deliver goods safely and efficiently. You’ll help load and unload shipments, support route driving, and provide friendly customer service at each stop. This hands-on role suits someone who enjoys moving throughout the day, working with a team, and helping customers receive their deliveries. Responsibilities Load and unload products, organize cargo, and assist with warehouse operations using a pallet jack or other material handling equipment when appropriate. Help the driver navigate delivery routes, use mobile devices to confirm delivery details, and follow traffic regulations. Move and position items using safe lifting practices; handle heavy lifting and workplace weight requirements according to established procedures. Support deliveries by box truck, van, or courier vehicle, including commercial truck and personal vehicle delivery operations as assigned. Your impact: Careful handling and clear customer communication help customers receive their orders safely and in good condition. Qualifications Required: Ability to lift and move products safely, follow instructions, and work effectively with a delivery team. Preferred: Warehouse experience, delivery driver or delivery driving experience, and familiarity with warehouse operations, manual handling, and load-and-unload tasks. Helpful experience includes commercial driving, commercial truck driving, box truck, van driver, courier, route driving, or personal vehicle delivery work. Familiarity with manual transmission, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment operation is an asset. Ability to follow Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safe lifting practices is preferred.
