Driver Helper

Driver Helper (Full-Time) Location: Brewster, NY Pay: $18/hour What You'll Do Ride along with a CDL driver and help unload meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, and supplies Move products to customer storage areas using hand trucks, electric pallet jacks, or manual methods Provide friendly, professional service to customers and help verify delivery accuracy Follow safety and food safety procedures, including monitoring refrigeration during deliveries Label and organize goods, handle returns or damaged products, and help with delivery paperwork Help clean the truck and secure equipment after deliveries What We're Looking For Ability to lift, push, or move up to 75 lbs. unassisted, and to use mechanical aids for heavier items Comfortable with physically demanding work: bending, twisting, reaching, and working in all weather Stamina for long hours, plus the ability to navigate steps, docks, and ramps Flexibility to work early mornings, overtime, weekends, and holidays Strong customer service, teamwork, and communication skills Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for payments and invoices, and proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking) Benefits Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) with generous Company Match Paid Vacation, Sick Time & Holidays Annual safety shoe reimbursement Uniforms Provided with Laundry Service Free on-site Chiropractor Free on-site Gym Free access to on-site Athletic Trainers Free lunch once per week Employee Marketplace discount Career growth and advancement opportunities Additional Info This role supports our Delivery Professionals in getting orders to customers on time and accurately. You'll work alongside a CDL driver, riding in the delivery truck and helping with unloading and delivery. No CDL required. The job is physically demanding and involves work in extreme or inclement weather. Schedules may include early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
