Driver Helper

Driver Helper / Contractor Assistant Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver Helper / Contractor Assistant to support a contractor with daily job site operations. This position involves safely transporting the contractor to various work locations, assisting with job site tasks, loading and unloading materials, and helping ensure projects are completed efficiently and professionally. Responsibilities Drive the contractor to and from job sites as needed. Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting tools, equipment, and materials. Help prepare and clean up job sites before and after work is completed. Provide general labor assistance during projects. Maintain organization of tools, vehicles, and work areas. Run errands to pick up supplies and materials when necessary. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Assist with lifting and moving heavy materials as required. Communicate effectively with the contractor regarding daily schedules and job requirements. Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Reliable transportation to and from work. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Basic knowledge of construction, maintenance, or contracting work is preferred but not required. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting. Ability to safely handle tools, equipment, and materials. Ability to work in physically demanding environments. Schedule Full-time or part-time, depending on project needs. Hours may vary based on job site locations and workload. Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
