Driver Helper

Duties Assist drivers with loading and unloading packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks Support route driving by helping to organize deliveries and ensuring accurate delivery sequences Safely load and unload items from box trucks, vans, or commercial trucks while adhering to safe lifting practices and weight handling regulations Help maintain compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws during route driving Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups Operate mobile devices for route navigation, delivery documentation, and communication purposes Support warehouse operations by moving materials, organizing inventory, and assisting with warehouse tasks as needed Skills Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred Experience in commercial driving, including box truck or van driver roles, is highly desirable Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles and safe driving practices for delivery driving Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely in accordance with workplace safety standards Familiarity with material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and moving carts Strong understanding of adhering to traffic regulations, DOT rules, and safety protocols during route driving Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally using mobile devices or other communication tools Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels our success!
