Driver

Overview As a Driver, you’ll move freight safely and reliably, using route plans and GPS navigation to support timely deliveries. You may operate a commercial truck, tractor-trailer, refrigerated trailer, flatbed, or tanker, depending on the assignment. Your impact: Safe, careful delivery driving helps customers receive their cargo in good condition and keeps shipments moving through the supply chain. Duties Drive assigned local or over-the-road (OTR) routes and follow delivery schedules. Load, unload, and secure freight; handle cargo manually when needed and follow safe lifting practices. Use GPS navigation, inspect vehicles and cargo, and report issues that could affect safe transport. Transport automobile shipments or other assigned cargo, including dangerous goods when qualified and authorized. Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, as well as applicable hazardous materials rules. Skills Required: Safe driving practices, commercial truck driving or truck driving skills, and the ability to handle loading and unloading tasks. Required: Knowledge of route driving, logistics cargo handling, freight securement, and manual transmission operation when the assigned vehicle requires it. Preferred: Delivery driver experience and experience with commercial driving, tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or automobile transportation. Preferred: Familiarity with OTR driving routes, GPS navigation, and hazardous materials or dangerous goods transport; required qualifications depend on the assignment. Ability to follow applicable DOT, FMCSA, and hazardous materials regulations. Pay: $23.87 - $28.75 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Paid time off Work Location: In person
