Driver Champion Courier
Sparta BeverageJob Summary We are looking for a proactive and reliable Driver Champion Courier to join our delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting packages, documents, and goods to various destinations while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about driving, skilled in manual handling, and committed to adhering to traffic and safety regulations. This position offers an opportunity to be a key player in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of professionalism. Duties Safely operate personal vehicles for delivery routes, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs. Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary. Follow established route plans using mobile devices for navigation to optimize delivery efficiency. Adhere strictly to traffic laws, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and safe driving practices at all times. Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns courteously. Support warehouse staff with manual handling tasks related to moving heavy items or materials requiring safe lifting practices. Qualifications Previous experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations is highly desirable. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and manual handling techniques. Strong understanding of traffic regulations, DOT requirements, and weight handling in the workplace. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude during interactions with clients. Comfortable working independently on route driving and managing load & unload tasks efficiently.
