DJ COMPANYWritingDJ Equipment Driver & Mover Dates: Thursday, November 12 – Sunday, November 15, 2026 Total Payout: $1,000 Event Location: South Carolina Equipment Pickup & Return: Jackson Heights, Queens, NY Position Overview We are hiring a reliable, responsible, and physically capable Driver & Mover to transport professional DJ equipment from Jackson Heights, Queens, to South Carolina for a two-day event. Responsibilities include long-distance driving, loading and unloading equipment, and assisting with setup and breakdown under the DJ’s guidance. Schedule & Responsibilities Thursday, November 12 – Equipment Pickup & Travel Pick up DJ equipment from the designated storage location in Jackson Heights, Queens. Load and safely secure all equipment in the vehicle. Drive to South Carolina with the equipment. Friday, November 13 – Event Setup Unload and move equipment into the event venue. Assist with setup under the direction and guidance of the DJ. Ensure all equipment is properly positioned and ready for the event. Saturday, November 14 – Event & Breakdown Assist with equipment handling and adjustments as directed by the DJ. Help break down, pack, and secure all equipment after the event. Prepare equipment for the return trip. Sunday, November 15 – Return to New York Drive the equipment back to Jackson Heights, Queens. Unload and return all equipment to the designated storage location. Must-Have Requirements Valid driver's license in good standing with NO points or violations . Strong driving experience, including long-distance driving. Ability to lift and carry 60+ lbs . Reliable, punctual, organized, and responsible. Comfortable with long-distance driving between New York and South Carolina. Comfortable with physical labor, loading and unloading, and handling professional audio equipment. Compensation & Accommodations $1,000 total payout for the full four-day assignment. Hotel accommodation provided for the trip. Lunch and dinner provided during the assignment. Gas and tolls covered for the work-related travel. Preferred Qualifications CDL or prior professional driving experience. Experience with moving, event production, DJ equipment, or audio equipment. This is a hands-on position requiring safe driving, heavy lifting, careful equipment handling, and flexibility with event schedules. The DJ will provide guidance for setup and breakdown. Applicants must meet all driving and lifting requirements to be considered. Pay: $250.00 per day Work Location: In person
