Position Summary The Driver is responsible for the safe transportation of aviation parts, tooling, materials, and documentation between company facilities, customers, vendors, and service providers. This role also supports warehouse operations through material handling, inventory assistance, facility support activities, and organization of storage locations. The Driver serves as an entry level warehouse team member and develops foundational knowledge of aviation material handling requirements, inventory processes, and company operational procedures. Key Responsibilities Transportation & Delivery Collect, load, transport, and deliver aviation parts, tooling, and materials according to established schedules. Ensure safe operation of company vehicles and compliance with all traffic laws and company policies. Verify shipment documentation and delivery requirements before departure. Obtain required delivery signatures and documentation. Immediately report delivery issues, delays, damages, or discrepancies. Material Handling Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment and safe lifting techniques. Package materials according to OEM, customer, and company requirements. Verify material quantities and documentation during pickup and delivery activities. Support movement of materials between warehouse locations. Inventory Support Assist warehouse personnel with stocking and organization of inventory. Retrieve parts for production and repair shops. Assist with receiving and shipping materials in Corridor ERP system. Support inventory counts and warehouse organization initiatives. Maintain proper inventory identification and traceability. Warehouse Support Assist in organizing warehouse and storage locations. Maintain accurate location identification and storage practices. Assist with material transfers between facilities and storage locations. Vehicle & Facility Support Perform light facility maintenance activities. Assist with warehouse cleanliness and organization while maintaining a safe work environment. Assist with keeping vehicle maintenance up to date. Identify and report facility maintenance concerns. Compliance & Safety Follow company safety policies and procedures. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and operational readiness. Ensure proper handling of aviation materials and tooling. Follow traceability and documentation requirements. Maintain professional appearance when interacting with customers, vendors, and service providers. Required High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record. Proven experience in driving and transportation, preferably in a similar role. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently. Basic computer skills. Strong attention to detail. Effective communication skills. Preferred Experience operating forklifts or material handling equipment. Familiarity with aviation components and tooling. Basic inventory management knowledge.
