Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight, goods, and equipment across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers across over-the-road (OTR) routes. Navigate using GPS systems to ensure efficient and timely deliveries while adhering to all federal and state transportation regulations. Load and unload freight with proper manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured according to logistics cargo handling standards. Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations, and hazardous goods handling procedures. Transport dangerous goods and hazardous materials safely, following all safety protocols for hazardous substances. Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Maintain accurate documentation for all deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in compliance with regulatory requirements. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly. Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving or delivery driving with a focus on route driving or freight transportation. Familiarity with driving a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, refrigerated units, flatbeds, tankers, or specialized equipment. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards related to truck driving. Experience loading and unloading trucks manually or using equipment while ensuring proper cargo handling techniques. Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle type (e.g., Hazmat endorsement if applicable). Comfortable operating manual transmission vehicles and utilizing GPS navigation systems for route planning. Ability to adhere strictly to safety procedures during transportation of dangerous goods or hazardous materials. Join us as a Driver and become a vital part of our logistics network!
