Drayage Truck Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Drayage Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting containers and goods between ports, warehouses, and distribution centers. The position offers flexible working hours, allowing drivers to work more hours for increased earnings. Candidates must be proficient in English, with some knowledge of Mandarin Chinese considered a plus. The role provides ample work opportunities for motivated drivers looking to maximize their income. Duties Operate drayage trucks to move containers efficiently between ports, warehouses. Ensure timely pickup and delivery of cargo while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients in English; some Mandarin Chinese language skills are advantageous but not required. Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during daily operations. Work flexible hours based on workload demands; the role offers the opportunity to work more hours for higher earnings. Skills Proven experience as a drayage or truck driver preferred. Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Mandarin Chinese is a nice-to-have. Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle type. TWIC card required. Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety standards. Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work independently with a flexible schedule and adapt to changing workloads. Good physical condition with the capability to be able to lift at least 30 pounds.
