Draftsman / procurement

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Draftsman / Procurement professional to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and schematics that support our construction and engineering projects, while also managing procurement activities to ensure timely acquisition of materials and equipment. Your expertise will help streamline project workflows, enhance design accuracy, and optimize resource procurement, contributing directly to the successful delivery of complex projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine technical drafting skills with strategic procurement processes in a fast-paced environment. Duties Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, and SolidWorks to support architectural, civil, or mechanical projects Create comprehensive schematics and technical documentation aligned with project specifications and industry standards Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design requirements and translate them into accurate drawings Manage procurement activities by sourcing materials, equipment, and services required for ongoing projects Prepare purchase requisitions, evaluate supplier bids, and negotiate terms to secure cost-effective procurement solutions Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to track orders, ensure timely delivery, and resolve any supply chain issues Maintain organized records of drawings, schematics, procurement documents, and project updates for seamless project tracking Skills Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, and SolidWorks Strong drafting skills with experience in creating detailed schematics and technical drawings Knowledge of construction processes and experience working within construction or engineering environments Ability to interpret architectural and engineering plans accurately Familiarity with procurement procedures such as sourcing vendors, evaluating bids, and managing supply chain logistics Experience with 2D animation is a plus for visualizing project concepts effectively Excellent communication skills for collaborating across teams and negotiating with suppliers Join us to bring your technical expertise to life through innovative design work while ensuring the smooth procurement of essential resources.
