DOT Delivery Driver

Job Overview Guardian Express is an Independent Delivery Service Partner. We are looking for enthusiastic, team players to deliver packages. Delivery Drivers strive to get every delivery on time. We offering Full-Time opportunities as of now. We also need drivers who can be Flexible with there schedules. Approximate start hours will be 7 am. Subject to change. Shifts range from 8-10 hours a day. Work well with others ( Driver Helper on Truck ) Shifts available now are throughout the week. ** Saturday or Sunday will be Mandatory! ** Our station will be in Rochester, NY. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and vans, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices Operate and Comfortable Driving 26FT Box Trucks. MUST be able to lift Packages up to 200lbs. ( Assistance from Helper on Truck ) Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and ensure on-time arrivals Load, unload, and secure merchandise with proper heavy lifting techniques to prevent damage or injury Communicate clearly with clients upon delivery, addressing questions or concerns professionally Organize merchandise for delivery, ensuring proper merchandising and presentation at each stop Qualifications Valid driver’s license or equivalent required; experience in commercial truck driving preferred DOT Certification a Plus!! ( We do however pay for certification and training ) Strong knowledge of route driving, traffic laws, and DOT regulations Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safe lifting practices Proven organizational skills for managing routes, deliveries, and documentation effectively BE CUSTOMER OBSESSED!!
