ConfidentialGeneral Description: Under the direction of the ReStore Donation Director, the ReStore Donation Team Dispatch Coordinator is an agency Problem Solver. The position is responsible for the day-to-day coordination, scheduling, communication, and administrative support functions of the ReStore Donation Team. The Dispatch Coordinator ensures donation pickups are scheduled efficiently, drivers have complete route information, donor expectations are clearly communicated, and pickup-related systems remain accurate and current. This position serves as the coordination hub among donors, drivers, ReStore locations, and the Donation Director. From time to time, as needed, this position would also serve as a back-up driver should the need arise. Problem Solvers are the foundation of the agency. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities… He or she must: · Possess strong organizational, scheduling, and time-management skills. · Proficiency with computers, mobile applications, and scheduling software. · Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate records. Basic understanding of routing and logistics principles. · Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond calmly to changing conditions. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Ability to physically lift materials weighing up to 75 lbs. · Ability to coordinate multiple drivers, vehicles, stores, and pickup schedules. · Ability to provide professional and responsive donor service. · Ability to drive a box truck and operate the lift gate successfully. Job Conditions… Position is full-time (40 hours a week) and works Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend work may be required. It is a non-exempt position. Work is primarily office-based, with occasional driving duties as needed within the Donation Operating area. Ability to physically lift materials weighing up to 75 lbs. Specific Responsibilities: Donation Scheduling and Routing · Manage the daily donation pickup calendar and scheduling workflow. · Schedule donations using Thrift Cart or other agency-approved systems. · Build efficient routes that maximize driver productivity and donated material recovery. · Coordinate special pickups and large-scale donations with the Donation Director and Lead Driver. Driver Coordination · Provide drivers with complete daily route information, donor notes, and pickup requirements. · Communicate schedule and route changes promptly to drivers and affected ReStore locations. · …
