Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Dockworker to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling shipments, loading and unloading materials, and maintaining smooth warehouse operations. Responsibilities Load and unload trucks using various material handling equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners Safely operate heavy machinery including cranes and other warehouse equipment in compliance with OSHA safety protocols Assist with order picking and packing to fulfill shipping and receiving requirements accurately Maintain inventory records through proper materials handling and inventory management practices Conduct manual handling tasks including heavy lifting to move goods within the warehouse efficiently Support warehouse operations by organizing storage areas, stacking pallets, and ensuring proper placement of materials Follow safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment for all team members Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related roles Skilled in operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, cranes, and load & unload machinery Strong knowledge of warehouse operations including inventory management and order picking processes Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements Experience with RF scanners for accurate order processing and tracking Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and adherence to safety protocols during all activities Excellent manual handling skills with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in materials handling and shipping documentation Join our team today and become an essential part of our logistics operation!
