Dock Worker

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Dock Worker to join our warehouse and logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading shipments, organizing freight, and ensuring materials are handled safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Load and unload trucks, trailers, and shipping containers. Move, sort, and organize freight in designated dock areas. Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies. Use pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely. Verify shipment labels and assist with inventory tracking. Prepare freight for storage, distribution, or transportation. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized loading dock. Follow company safety procedures and warehouse guidelines. Work with team members to ensure shipments are processed on time. Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or dock experience is preferred but not required. Ability to lift, carry, push, and move packages throughout the shift. Basic understanding of warehouse safety practices. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Willingness to learn warehouse equipment and procedures. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods. Comfortable working in an active warehouse environment. Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks safely. Willingness to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
