eries, and lead the team handling freight. Hours: 8pm - 5am, Monday to Friday. Your impact: By keeping shipments, inventory, and dock workflows organized, you help freight teams and customers receive goods reliably. Looking for Overnight Supervisor with excellent knowledge of Northern New Jersey, and freight shipping.
• Responsibilities
• Supervise daily warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, materials handling, and distribution center activity.
• Plan deliveries and coordinate logistics with terminal and transportation teams.
• Oversee inventory control and inventory management using inventory management systems and a warehouse management system (WMS).
• Use RF scanners and Microsoft Office to track work, maintain records, and communicate plans.
• Lead team members, support process improvement and lean management practices, and promote safe equipment use.
Skills
• Warehouse experience, including warehouse distribution, warehouse management, and distribution center operations; warehouse supervisor experience is preferred.
• Team management, team leadership, and clear managerial communication.
• Excellent knowledge of Northern New Jersey.
• Inventory management, inventory control, logistics, and familiarity with inventory management systems and a WMS.
• Forklift and other material handling equipment operation; ability to perform heavy lifting as required.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety practices.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
