Dock Hand/ Fish house worker

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dock Worker to join our team. Perfect candidate (s) will be able to work in a a fast paced job, be able to work with a team, able to lift, and can take initiative to get things done. Duties Load and unload freight from trucks and containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment. Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage. Organize cargo in designated areas to facilitate easy access and inventory management. Operate rigging equipment safely to move heavy items as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of shipments. Assist in inventory counts and reporting discrepancies as necessary. Requirements Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for operating equipment effectively. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) repeatedly throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if required.
