Dock Employee – Shipping & Receiving

Job Overview We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Dock Employee to support our shipping and receiving operations at our meat processing facility. The ideal candidate must be able to read and write, use a computer, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure that incoming and outgoing products are handled properly. Duties Load and unload deliveries; check items against shipping documents and report discrepancies. Use a forklift, pallet jack, order picker, and radio-frequency (RF) scanner to move, locate, and handle products safely. Complete order picking, picking and packing, packaging, stocking, and order fulfillment tasks. Enter shipment and inventory data accurately; support inventory management and warehouse distribution. Follow shipping logistics procedures and applicable trade compliance and international trade regulations. Your impact: Accurate receiving and order preparation help customers and internal teams get the right products when they need them. Skills Essential: Basic math, data entry, attention to detail, and clear communication. Essential: Ability to follow safe warehouse operations and shipping and receiving procedures. Preferred: Warehouse experience, logistics, customer service, and familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory management software. Preferred: Microsoft Office, ERP systems, MRP, or AS400 experience. Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Retirement plan Work Location: In person
