Key Responsibilities
• Greet arriving truck drivers and assign appropriate loading dock bays to coordinate efficient fleet traffic patterns
• Verify incoming and outgoing bill of lading documentation, freight manifests, and trailer shipping logs for accuracy
• Inspect commercial transport vehicles, checking and logging plastic or metal security seals to confirm cargo integrity
• Input real time arrival data, transport volumes, and departure times directly into our national supply chain database
• Communicate transport arrival updates continuously to warehouse material handlers and forklift operators to prevent floor delays
• Report delivery variances, trailer safety hazards, or paperwork errors immediately to the transportation supervisor

Requirements and Qualifications
• Must be a United States citizen or a lawful permanent resident alien
• Must be at least eighteen years old or sixteen years old with a high school diploma
• Ability to pass a thorough federal background check, a standard drug screening, and a logical reasoning assessment
• Prior professional experience in shipping and receiving, dock administration, or logistics data entry is preferred
• Strong basic computer skills, including comfort working with digital tracking interfaces and logistics databases
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English to confidently manage commercial transport drivers
