DME Retail Lead

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced DME Retail Lead to oversee daily operations and drive sales within our retail store specializing in Durable Medical Equipment (DME). This energetic leader will manage a team of retail associates, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, retail industry expertise, and a passion for improving patient and customer experiences. Duties Lead and supervise the retail team, providing coaching, training, and development to foster a high-performance environment Oversee inventory management, including stock control, purchasing, merchandising, and product replenishment to ensure product availability and optimal presentation Manage daily store operations, including cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems, cashiering, and operational procedures Implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets through effective sales management and customer engagement Conduct employee orientation, interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing training to build a knowledgeable and motivated team Maintain accurate bookkeeping and payroll records while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures Utilize strong negotiation skills to optimize purchasing agreements and vendor relationships Ensure excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and maintaining a welcoming store environment Supervise shift schedules, manage store budgets, and oversee operational tasks such as pricing adjustments and inventory control Foster a positive team culture through effective communication skills, leadership presence, and organizational skills Requirements Proven management experience within the retail industry with a focus on sales team leadership and operational oversight Demonstrated experience in supervising staff, conducting interviews, training & development initiatives Strong knowledge of retail math including pricing strategies, budgeting, inventory management, and sales analysis Excellent communication skills in multiple languages preferred; bilingual abilities are highly valued Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, bookkeeping practices, and payroll processes Experience in negotiating with vendors or suppliers to secure favorable terms Background in healthcare or DME retail environments is a plus but not required; relevant product knowledge is beneficial Ability to perform basic math accurately for inventory counts, sales calculations, and financial reporting Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple responsibilities Demonstrated leadership qualities with a focus on team management and operational excellence Join us as our DME Retail Lead to make a meaningful difference in our community by providing essential medical products with outstanding service.
