Distributor Account Manager & Data Specialist Overview Treasure Valley Coffee (TVC) is hiring a Distributor Account Manager & Data Specialist. You'll be the main contact for our distributor and wholesale customers, receiving and catering orders, and keeping the data behind their accounts accurate. TVC roasts and sells coffee to office coffee service (OCS) providers outside our own service region, both TVC-branded and private label. We also supply these partners with paper products, first aid and other breakroom essentials at competitive prices. Position Summary In this role you'll answer customer questions about products, pricing and orders, solve problems as they come up, and keep account, product and pricing records clean. You'll work with our warehouse, supply chain, production, sales, customer service and accounts receivable teams. The position reports to the National Account Manager. Duties And Responsibilities Customer accounts Be the go-to contact for distributor and wholesale customers by phone, email and in person. Answer questions on products, pricing and order status, and keep customers informed of any delays. Help build new customer relationships and keep current customers satisfied. Work with accounts receivable to keep customers in good financial standing. Create product marketing and sales materials to share with customers. Data and systems Manage customer accounts, products and equipment from onboarding to offboarding. Use our Vending Management System (VMS) to set up customers, update account details, enter approved pricing, and create sales confirmations and invoices. Audit and double-check data before it is published or shared, and follow up with teams to fill gaps. Build product catalogs for customers and internal use. Prepare internal and customer reports on distributor sales, trends, commissions and compliance. Reporting and improvement Help build custom reports and dashboards that support business decisions. Track orders and help resolve account issues. Qualifications Education and experience Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Management Information Systems, Accounting, Supply Chain, Data Analytics or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in account management, data management, account administration, ERP/CRM systems, reporting or a related business operations role. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. Skills Excellent written and verbal communication. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to clean, accurate records. Analytical and mathematically inclined, with a predisposition for spotting patterns and discrepancies and seeing issues through. Organized and self-directed: with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. A growth mindset and an eye for improving data quality and workflows. Comfortable with databases, spreadsheets, and ERP or CRM systems. Experience with Excel, SQL, Snowflake or Power BI is a plus. Work Environment Position requires the employee to work both in a warehouse and office setting with occasional visits to other departments. Work is conducted between 7:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Dress requirements are business casual unless you are meeting with suppliers or vendors.
