The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. A Typical Day Hospital supply chain distribution coordinators, including job titles of coordinator, distribution coordinator, leads and inventory specialists, manage the procurement, inventory, replenishment and tracking of supplies and inventory throughout the healthcare facility, The role focuses on making sure clinicians and departments have the right products available while preventing shortages and controlling costs. This position does not have direct reports. Receive incoming shipments and verify items against packing slip Independently complete receiving process using supply chain technology Prioritize overnight, regulated, and perishable goods following guidelines Utilizes tissue tracking platform to properly track and deliver to customers Unpack and store supplies in appropriate locations Track inventory levels and restock supply rooms, carts, and stations Use current Supply Chain technology to replenish supplies Rotate stock and monitor expiration dates Use the First in First Out (FIFO) method of stocking Follow infection control, safety, and hospital procedures Keep storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with regulations This Role Might Be For You If .. Working knowledge of stock management and operations Ability to use latest technology to perform job responsibilities Professional communication, written and verbal, in dealing with all levels of staff and management Ability to lift, push and pull up to fifty pounds. To Be Considered Education Required: High School diploma or equivalent Experience Preferred: Hospital supply chain experience preferred Schedule Requirements Full-Time, Days. Sun - Sat with alternating holidays and weekends.
