The Distribution Team Lead supports day-to-day distribution center operations and helps keep the team on track to meet production and shipping goals. Working closely with DC leadership, this role provides hands-on support across receiving, picking, packing, replenishment, and shipping while helping coordinate workflow, train team members, and maintain a safe and organized work environment. What You'll Do: Monitor conveyor and picking activity to maintain consistent product flow and prevent backlogs. Monitor replenishment, picking, and put-away processes throughout the shift. Help coordinate staffing across departments based on workload and operational needs. Partner with other Team Leads and DC leadership to support workflow throughout the distribution center. Assist with coordinating team break and lunch schedules. Help track attendance, including late arrivals and early departures. Support Ecommerce and Retail fulfillment, including Put to Store (PTS) and Put to Wall (PTW) processes. Process waves and prepare and distribute work to the floor. Research discrepancies and help identify where operational errors occurred. Separate will-call and truck shipments from standard carrier shipments and palletize orders as needed. Track air and overnight shipments to ensure orders meet required carrier cutoff times. Identify process issues or team member performance concerns and communicate them to DC leadership. Use pallet jacks, carts, and other equipment to move orders to packing, shipping, and staging areas. Train team members on department processes, procedures, and expectations. Support 5S and continuous process improvement initiatives. What You Bring: High school diploma or equivalent. 3–5 years of experience working in a high-volume distribution or warehouse environment. Experience supporting or leading team members in a distribution environment preferred. Familiarity with RF units and warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable. Basic computer skills, including the ability to access production reports and inventory records. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members and leadership. Ability to prioritize work and adapt to changing operational needs in a fast-paced environment. Hands-on approach and willingness to support the team wherever needed to meet daily goals.
