Distribution Sales Coordinator

🚨 I am hiring - Distribution Sales Coordinator 📍 Location: Schaumburg, IL 60173 🏢 Work Model: First 90 days 5 days onsite, then potential to go hybrid for 3-4 days 💼 Employment Type: Fulltime base salary $55k/year ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Sales Support sales efforts by responding to inquiries from distributors, end-customers, sales assistants, account managers, customer service, and marketing departments in an efficient manner to ensure both customer requirements and the Company’s sales goals and objectives are met. 2. Administration Support Distributors, End-Customers, and Distribution Sales Group. Prepare and enter critical customer requests to support business development, such as sample requests, failure analysis claims, environmental compliance requests, Conflict Mineral (CMRT) compliance requests, PPAP/PSW requests, and spec and technical data. 3. Quoting Prepare and enter quote requests (RFQs) into UTY’s CRM system and respond with approved pricing to distributors; responsible for maintaining turn around target response time KPIs. Gather related POS data, existing Ship & Debit pricing, and research quote history. Create and maintain Ship & Debits in CRM and SAP OASIS. Update new part numbers and pricing into UTY distribution price book and CRM system. Assist Customer Account Specialists and Sales Assistants with pricing discrepancies and part registrations. 4. NPI Support the DSM with the preparation and management of new product introductions (NPI). Help with creating the necessary parts list with the approved pricing and related product data. Support and track initial stocking orders from distributors. 5. Part Number Management Support Sales Assistants and Customer Account Specialists in resolving part number requirements and cross reference. 6. Inventory Management Support price protection, stock rotation, scrap allocation, and initial inventory return processes. Create related Credit/Debit memos and related RMA documentation in SharePoint and OASIS. Coordinate all scrap, credit, and RMA information with distributor. 7. Interface Interact with overseas subsidiaries, other departments, and customers to request and share information as needed. Additionally, support manufacturer’s representatives in the function of inside sales as assigned. 8. Analysis Gather data and perform ad-hoc analysis as instructed on variety of areas including (but not limited to) NPI, pricing, marketing, quoting, and sales. Research assigned subjects and be able to effectively grasp and share key points from data on matters ranging from competitor products and strategies to vertical markets and their composition. 9. Other Performs other related duties and projects as assigned by management. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: A bachelor’s degree; 1+ years’ experience in inside sales, marketing, or assistant type roles a plus 👉 Interested?
