In your role as a Distribution Operations Supervisor at DHL Supply Chain, you will be a key player in ensuring that our warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise will be crucial in enhancing processes, guiding our dedicated frontline associates, maintaining a safe work environment, and contributing to our esteemed legacy within contract logistics.
DHL Supply Chain North America operates over 500 facilities across more than 150 million square feet of warehouse space, supported by a workforce of over 50,000 committed professionals.
Job Responsibilities:
• Lead, motivate, and mentor a diverse team of frontline associates while fostering a culture of inclusion and belonging.
• Proactively ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a strong safety culture throughout the workplace.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to evaluate performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide insightful reports to management.
• Encourage open communication and collaboration, facilitating regular dialogues amongst leadership and associates to enhance transparency and teamwork.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in a supervisory role.
• 1+ years of experience in the logistics industry preferred.
• Strong skills in staff management, workload planning, and organizational development are preferred.
