Distribution Operations Manager

Role Description The Opera Operations and Distribution Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Charlotte Metro area. This role oversees day-to-day warehouse and distribution activities, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and coordination of inbound and outbound shipments. The manager will monitor stock levels, optimize storage and layout, and ensure timely processing and delivery to dealers and distributors. Responsibilities include supervising & assisting staff, implementing process improvements, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Qualifications Operations and distribution management skills, including experience supervising warehouse teams, coordinating logistics, and optimizing order fulfillment processes. Inventory control and warehousing skills, such as managing stock levels, cycle counts, storage optimization, and use of warehouse management systems. Process improvement and analytical skills, including the ability to assess workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement data-driven solutions. Communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with external partners in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of safety and compliance standards in warehousing and distribution, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Relevant experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management; experience in safety products or emergency services industries is beneficial. Proficiency with standard office and inventory software & equipment. Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience. Previous experience with a company that ships both LTL & small packages.
