Distribution Driver
Uplo LLCDistribution Driver – California Location: Oakland, CA Job Type: Part-Time Pay: $23.00 per hour Work Location: In person Schedule Every Friday: Required weekly shift. Tuesdays and Wednesdays: Scheduled every other week. Occasional Thursdays: Additional shifts may be scheduled approximately every other week, depending on operational needs. Candidates must be flexible and able to accommodate the rotating schedule. About the Role We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and safety-conscious Distribution Driver to join our team in Oakland, California. The ideal candidate is punctual, organized, and customer-oriented, with experience transporting and delivering products between facilities and client locations throughout California. In this role, you will be responsible for safely loading, transporting, and delivering products while maintaining accurate delivery records, keeping the company vehicle in good condition, and complying with all applicable transportation laws and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities Safely operate company delivery vehicles to transport products between facilities and designated delivery locations. Load and unload products carefully, ensuring all items are handled accurately and securely. Verify deliveries and maintain accurate records, receipts, and required documentation. Follow assigned delivery routes and ensure timely pickups and deliveries. Maintain the cleanliness and overall condition of the assigned vehicle. Report vehicle maintenance needs, mechanical issues, or safety concerns promptly. Follow all applicable California transportation laws, traffic regulations, and company safety procedures. Communicate professionally and effectively with team members, dispatch, and customers. Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and in accordance with company procedures. Qualifications Valid California driver's license (Class C or higher). Clean driving record, with no major violations within the past three years. At least one year of delivery or professional driving experience preferred. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Strong time-management, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and follow established procedures. Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented. Willingness to travel to designated delivery locations throughout California as required. Flexibility to work the rotating schedule described above. Compensation and Employment Details Hourly Pay: $23.00 per hour. Employment Type: Part-time. Work Location: On-site in Oakland, California.
