What you will accomplish as a DC Supervisor at TAPCO: The Distribution Supervisor oversees daily warehouse and logistics operations to ensure seamless workflows. Operating in a fast-paced environment, this role coordinates shipping, receiving, outbound operations and inventory management. The supervisor acts as a critical link between upper management and floor staff, balancing labor allocation with corporate targets. By monitoring key metrics and resolving operational bottlenecks, they guarantee that internal and external customer orders are processed accurately, safely, and on schedule. Position Qualifications: Manage daily inbound and outbound logistics operations. Schedule and assign tasks to warehouse personnel. Monitor order picking accuracy and packing standards. Conduct routine inventory cycle counts and audits. Enforce strict OSHA and company safety protocols. Track employee productivity and key performance metrics. Maintain warehouse management systems with precise data. Resolve delivery delays and inventory tracking discrepancies. Coordinate routine maintenance for materials handling equipment. Train staff in operational procedures and equipment. Stay current on all emails, projects, expectations as directed by DC manager. Required Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities and Experience: Candidates must hold a Bachelor\'s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. This position requires at least two years of progressive leadership experience within a distribution center or manufacturing warehouse setting. Applicants must possess strong transportation knowledge, advanced proficiency in warehouse management software, and data analytics. Deep understanding of supply chain logistics.
