Maverick TechAbout the Role As a Distribution Center Operations Lead, you will oversee the seamless flow of goods, ensuring that our logistics and shipping workflows meet high-performance standards. You will drive operational excellence by managing a dedicated team, optimizing inventory accuracy, and fostering a culture of safety and efficiency to deliver exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities Drive productivity and service excellence by monitoring and optimizing key performance indicators (KPIs) across all shipping operations. Champion a culture of workplace safety by implementing and enforcing rigorous health and security protocols. Cultivate a high-performing team through effective recruitment, comprehensive training, and ongoing performance development. Streamline order fulfillment processes by managing picking assignments and proactively resolving backorder issues. Ensure inventory integrity through meticulous daily reconciliation and the execution of cycle counts and physical audits. Maintain operational continuity by overseeing the upkeep of warehouse machinery and managing essential supply procurement. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a warehouse or logistics environment. Advanced proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite. Proven ability to manage complex, multi-tasking workflows in a high-velocity setting. Strong commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and operational integrity. Current certification in CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens. Preferred Skills Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Hands-on experience operating industrial forklift equipment. Demonstrated success in process improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
