Distribution Center Director (Onsite - Forest City, IA)

For our client, we are seeking a Distribution Center Director to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will oversee end-to-end distribution center operations, with a strong focus on safety, compliance, service performance, and cost control. The position will partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient product flow, strong operational governance, and exceptional customer delivery. It will also play a key leadership role in developing front-line and salaried leaders while advancing continuous improvement across the site. Location: Forest City, IA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $211,600 – $290,950 annually Responsibilities Lead all aspects of distribution center operations for safety, compliance, and cost-effectiveness. Drive site performance metrics including safety, quality, and customer delivery. Develop and mentor frontline and salaried leaders to enhance team engagement. Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless distribution execution. Manage site budgets and productivity initiatives to meet operational goals. Implement performance governance through KPIs and problem-solving methodologies. Champion continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma and process optimization. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher with 10 years of experience in supply planning, warehousing, transportation, and inventory control, or a High School Diploma/GED with 14 years of relevant experience. Three years of direct supervisory experience. Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline is a plus. Experience in high-volume distribution or manufacturing environments. Proven track record in achieving operational performance metrics.
