Distribution Center Diesel Mechanic II

The Diesel Mechanic II performs skilled maintenance and repairs on Class 8 diesel tractors, trailers, and material handling equipment. You’ll handle advanced diagnostics, maintain service records, and help ensure our fleet remains DOT-compliant and road-ready. 2nd Shift Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and braking systems Conduct preventative maintenance and DOT inspections Maintain service logs and repair documentation Operate tools and diagnostic equipment safely Required 2–4 years of diesel mechanic experience Knowledge of Class 8 vehicle systems and components Valid driver’s license Preferred Technical school certification or ASE credentials Welding, trailer repair, or forklift maintenance experience Ability to work independently in a fast-paced DC environment
