Distribution Associate - Seasonal

The National Inventors Hall of Fame is seeking Seasonal Distribution Associates to assist in the preparation and distribution of our materials to children nationwide. You will be preparing and packing wonderful materials like robots, pipe cleaners, flashlights, screwdrivers, pom poms, and everything else that makes our STEM curriculum so much fun! Our seasonal position is one of a kind, with the potential to return each season! Season: January 11 to May 28 Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7 AM – 3 PM, 40 hours a week Rate: $15.00/hour Position Responsibilities: Safely move product to proper storage locations Pull and pack materials into different configurations as needed for shipment Ensure that the exact number and type of product is picked Process orders in the inventory management system Stack and store inventory in the designated areas Load outbound shipments safely and perform quality control to ensure accuracy Maintain housekeeping in the warehouse and surrounding areas Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to operate RFID Scanner Basic math Attention to detail Ability to bend, reach and stand for extended time periods Able to lift up to 50lbs.
