Position Title: Order-Fill Department: Operations/Warehouse Reports To: Mike Brackey Date: 8/6/2014 Purpose: (Summary of positions basic function) Fulfill retail and consumer orders assigned by Management. Accountabilities: (Describe duties) Hand selecting items as directed by R.F. scanning device. Sku’s are picked sequentially through the warehouse and are packed per customer compliance requirements. The position consists of a considerable amount of walking, standing, bending, and reaching for product on warehouse racking. Understanding customer compliance requirements and adhering to safety program is also required. May be responsible for other tasks or projects assigned by management. Knowledge, skill, and requirements: (including attributes that lead to job skills) Safe operation of mechanized warehouse equipment Lifting and carrying with help, a variety of sizes and shapes of cartons ranging in weight from 1 to 70 lbs. Working from written, verbal, and radio transmitted instruction Performing mathematical calculations Standing, sitting, and walking for long periods of time Following all plant safety rules (may participate on safety teams) Report all accidents and unsafe conditions immediately to Manager Maintain good housekeeping by keeping all areas clean Complete training of all functions.
