Distribution Analyst - Pottery Barn

Job DescriptionOverview of the roleYou will ensure that the store stock on hand is correct to support sales. You will translate assortment and buy plans into distribution parameters. You will allocate merchandise to stores, analyze and adjust store parameters to maximize sales and profit.ResponsibilitiesDevelop distribution strategies and utilize JE- Just Enough to maximize in-stock positionTranslate assortment and buy plans into distribution parametersAnalyze stock to sales and adjust store parameters to increase or decrease product flowWork with visual floor set to ensure in-stock and presentation quantity by locationManage new store planned inventory levels to ensure in-stock store openingRecommend distribution strategies to maximize businessMonitor and resolve inventory control issues with on hand accuracy and data integrityEnsure stores maintain appropriate in-stock service levels / weeks on handCreate and update store groups to support distribution strategyProficient in MS Office Suite including Email / Excel / Word / TeamsCriteria1-2 year previous retail distribution experienceExcellent technical skills, specifically Excel and other Microsoft office applications This role requires being onsite in San Francisco Monday through Thursday and Friday as optional in the office Our Culture & Values We believe that taking care of our people is vital to our success and we strive to offer equitable and transparent practices for all. The expected starting pay range for this position is $71,400 - $83,850 annually. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets.
