Position Location: Fallon, Nevada Job Overview: Dispatches vehicles and maintains logs. Responsibilities: Essential Job Duties: Assigns motor vehicles and drivers for conveyance of request from customers. Compiles list of available vehicles. Collect and compile data to generate reports as required, including generating employee weekly work schedules. Collect and compile data for distribution to company and government officials. Schedule equipment requests and coordinate staffing with management and customers as required. Schedule bus and truck services for squadron movements based on data from the air flow sheet received from the terminal. Schedule all preventative maintenance according to GSA-USN guidelines. Cut, approve and complete work orders for scheduled operations jobs. Track and file work requests, vehicle requests, drivers log sheets, DMV registrations, any data or paperwork that comes through dispatch. Log every vehicle that arrives and departs from maintenance. Check all drivers’ logs and trip-tickets for accuracy; return to driver if missing data. Coordinate with customers to have their vehicles brought in on schedule for maintenance. Maintain key control, record sheets, and credentials to drivers. Records time of departure, destination, cargo, and expected time of return. Investigates overdue vehicles. May confer with customers to expedite or locate missing, misrouted, delayed, or damaged merchandise. May maintain record of mileage, fuel used, repairs made and other expenses. Washes and vacuums vehicles to maintain high standards of appearance. Performs other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Mandatory: High school graduate or equivalent. Experience in a work management environment. Possess a valid State issued driver’s license. Experience with Microsoft Office programs and database programs to proficiency. Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written. Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional and courteous manner in diversified situations. Must be able to comprehend, read, speak, and write proficiently in the English language. Possess an OSHA 10 card or have the ability to get one within the first 90 days of employment. Preferred: Experience using Government programs, for example MAXIMO Working Conditions: Work is typically performed in an office setting. Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Work hours are subject to change, with overtime, shift and/or weekend work as needed.
