DISPATCHER - TOWING & ROAD SERVICE

As one of Pittsburgh’s largest 24 hour Towing and Road Service companies, we have proudly serviced Western PA and the surrounding states for over 35 years. Applicants need to be reliable, dependable, organized, and detailed orientated. Must have strong communication skills and data entry abilities. Ability to remain calm and composed while multi-tasking in a fast paced environment and have sound judgement and critical thinking. Hours are evenings, nights and weekends but will be required to be available to work all shifts, including holidays, weekends, and assist with any coverage when needed. Must understand the importance of attendance and punctuality. Responsibilities Include: *Answering all incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner, including transferring calls or taking messages for all departments within the company. *Collect detailed information to relate to drivers and roadside technicians using a computer dispatch system in an efficient and timely manner. *Monitor active calls to assure completion and update customers as needed. *Record all pertinent information from each call on daily reports and review previous day’s reports for accuracy and completeness. *Assist Manager with various office duties.
