Dispatcher – Plumbing, HVAC & Home Services

Magic Plumbing, Heating & Cooling San Francisco, CA 94124 | Full-Time | On-Site Magic Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is looking for an experienced Dispatcher to help manage our growing service operation. We need someone who understands the fast pace of home services, can confidently manage a busy dispatch board, and knows how to keep technicians productive while delivering excellent customer service. What You'll Do Manage the daily dispatch board and technician schedules. Assign calls based on technician skill, location, availability, and urgency. Prioritize emergency calls and adjust schedules throughout the day. Monitor technician progress, capacity, drive time, and job status. Communicate schedule changes and job details with technicians and customers. Maintain accurate job and customer information in Service Titan . Coordinate with CSRs and leadership to maximize service opportunities. Help minimize cancellations, technician downtime, and scheduling gaps. What We're Looking For 2+ years dispatching plumbing, HVAC, or home service technicians. Service Titan experience or experience with a similar dispatch/CRM platform. Customer service skills that can turn frustrated callers into satisfied customers. Strong multitasking ability and the ability to stay cool when everything hits at once. Excellent attention to detail — one wrong address wastes everyone's time. Clear, confident communication with both customers and technicians. Decision-making confidence to prioritize jobs and manage changing schedules. Dependable, organized, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership. Bonus: Previous call center, CSR, or administrative experience in the trades. Why Magic Plumbing?
