Responsibilities
• Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) to schedule, track, and optimize freight loads efficiently.
• Coordinate with carriers, drivers, and warehouse teams to plan daily shipments and deliveries.
• Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accuracy in documentation and compliance with company policies.
• Enter data accurately into systems to maintain real-time records of shipments, and dispatch details.
• Communicate clearly with internal teams and external partners
• Analyze freight data to identify opportunities for route optimization, cost savings, and improved service levels.
• Maintain organized records of shipments, delivery schedules, and related documentation through meticulous data entry and analysis skills.
Qualifications
• Proven experience with transportation management systems (TMS), shipping & receiving operations, or supply chain coordination.
• Familiarity with 3PL (third-party logistics) providers and freight management processes.
• Excellent communication skills paired with professional phone etiquette for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Demonstrated data entry accuracy with strong typing skills and experience managing multi-line phone systems.
• Analytical mindset capable of assessing logistics data to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Knowledge of shipping regulations, freight procedures, and supply chain best practices is preferred.
