Early Access: Your benefits start after just 30 days of employment The dispatcher partners closely with our production team to ensure a balanced, collaborative business partnership. Support driver scheduling, coordinate routes, destinations, and timelines for transporting freight to its intended destination. Support driver learning and growth around DOT compliance, regulations, and company processes Maintain open communication with customers regarding delivery updates and assist with providing tenders Track driver progress and essential operational details electronically Foster ongoing driver support and engagement to ensure daily operational success Assist with coordinating regular truck maintenance alongside shop personnel Monitor Hours of Service to support safety and well-being Actively engage in oversight of freight loading and unloading to ensure safety standards and SOPs are met Help ensure shipping lanes flow smoothly to support production and floor space needs Other duties as assigned ________________________Are you a MATCH? Required Qualifications And Competencies High School Diploma or Equivalent Proven experience in transportation dispatching or a related field is preferred. Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in transportation management software and other related programs. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong problem - solving tasks and decision-making abilities. Forklift experience or willingness to gain experience is a must have Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ________________________ Benefits We care about and support our Airgas Families.
