Dispatcher I

The City of Folly Beach is accepting applications for the position of both Full-Time and Part-Time Public Safety Dispatchers. Police and Fire emergency dispatch experience and NCIC certified preferred. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, possess a high school diploma and clear an extensive background check, polygraph, fit for duty medical exam and psychological evaluation. Medical and psychological testing will be scheduled once the conditional offer of employment is accepted by the applicant. Applicants will be responsible for coordinating police and fire response to calls or emergencies and being the first point of contact for the public when contacting public safety. Starting wage is $22.19 per hour. Full-time employees will be eligible for enrollment in PEBA insurance and dental benefits. Please submit your resume on indeed, or at cityoffollybeach.com.
