Dispatcher for Night Shift

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic night dispatcher with PortPro expirience to join our dynamic team and work night shift. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring their inquiries are handled efficiently and effectively. You will play a vital role in maintaining customer satisfaction and fostering strong relationships while managing various tasks related to supply chain and logistics. Responsibilities Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions or escalate issues as necessary. Type accurate information into our systems while maintaining data integrity through effective data entry practices. Collaborate with logistics teams to manage freight and supply chain processes, ensuring timely delivery of products. Utilize Oracle Transportation Management and SyteLine systems to track shipments and resolve any discrepancies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and policies to provide accurate information to customers. Assist in the development of reports using GIS tools to analyze customer trends and service performance. Experience Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred, particularly within the logistics or supply chain industry. Familiarity with PortPro/EModal and all terminal websites. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and make informed decisions. Proficient in data entry with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service Join us in delivering outstanding service to our customers while contributing to the success of our team!
