Job Description Our Ground Transportation Company is looking for a reliable, experienced, articulate multi-tasker with extensive GTA knowledge and confident PC skills. Our day to day operations involves 'on demand service' and focuses on High Level of Customer Service . Dispatch Goal : Assign chauffeurs to guests at various destinations that are best suited for our drivers and clients needs. The successful candidate for this position will be able to adjust to last minute changes, working with chauffeurs for both scheduled and new requests, when necessary. Serious focus on all tasks from start to finish is a must ; as there is rarely any downtime between taking calls and managing programs & routes all day. Organisational skills, critical thinking methods and a positive attitude are required for this position. Numerous computer programs are in place to aid in the job; however, much of the work requires good intuition and knowledge of the industry. Our GPS system allows us to locate all chauffeurs and assist in preventing all potential issues. The system also enables us to monitor any sudden work or order schedule changes and advises us of any road construction along with weather conditions. It permits us to work with chauffeurs to establish new routes. The dispatcher acts as a communication liaison, via phone or satellite messaging, with chauffeurs on the road. The KEY is to cultivate and establish a strong relationship with the chauffeurs, colleagues and our guests to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Shifts vary.
