Role Description The Dispatcher at Northforce Logistics Inc. is a full-time, on-site role based in Regina, SK. This position is responsible for coordinating and assigning loads to drivers, creating and adjusting daily schedules, and ensuring routes are optimized for safety and efficiency. The Dispatcher monitors driver locations and delivery status, responds to inquiries from drivers and customers, and resolves issues such as delays, route changes, and equipment needs. Daily tasks include updating dispatch systems, maintaining accurate records, communicating with customers about pickup and delivery times, and collaborating with operations and maintenance teams. The role also involves following company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety guidelines while supporting a professional and respectful work environment. Qualifications Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities to coordinate multiple drivers, routes, and schedules. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for clear, timely interaction with drivers, customers, and internal teams. Proficient computer and data entry skills, including use of dispatch or fleet management software and basic office applications. Sound judgment and problem-solving skills to handle unexpected issues, adjust plans, and make decisions under time pressure. Attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping, documentation, and compliance with transportation regulations. Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, including occasional extended hours, evenings, or weekends as operationally required. Previous experience in dispatch, transportation, logistics, or fleet coordination is an asset. Knowledge of local and regional geography and trucking industry practices is beneficial. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in logistics, business, or a related field is an advantage.
